The Lion Inn & Suites

Great price. Our room had 2 burners, fill fridge and microwave. Bed was way too soft, though. It felt good at first but didn't offer good support. Walls are thin as paper. You can hear everything in rooms beside you and the hallway.... Even when people are quiet.

My room was large and spacious. The front desk associate was kind, professional, and accommodating. The bed, bed linens and pillows were great. Kitchen is great. Recommendations: Invest a bit into the front entrance to make it look a bit more bright and inviting, and provide more coffee in the rooms.

Awesome spot! Very nice rooms, very modern and fairly high end for the price point. My kitchenette had a full sized stainless steel fridge with a water dispenser and ice machine. Two burner stovetop and microwave were nice touches too. Very nice showers. The only thing that is less than disirable is the front desk staff. A younger guy, very rude and un pleasant to deal with.

Good place to stay. Great price! Much smaller, but nicer than your average hotel. Full fridge and nice kitchenette. Walls could use more soundproofing as you can hear people moving around.

We had 2 suites with fridge and stove top. We needed an oven(which the room does not have) so the manager quicky supplied us with a toaster oven which helped. We found the staff very nice and polite. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean. The only complaint I would have is the shower door wouldn't stay closed all the way and the wifi can be slow at times.. This was our first time hunting in Chetwynd and the manager went out and found us a great map of the area, without us asking him to. That is service! One other thing I liked was it is off the beaten path. Thanks to the staff, We enjoyed our stay!

I loved it. Quiet, clean, spacious, and newly renovated or built. I'm a light sleeper. What I liked the most was the heating/cooling system, unlike other ones that cycle on and off it produced consistent, white-noise sound that was barely noticeable. I highly recommend this place.

A nice surprise - out of the way in downtown Chetwynd, this hotel has generous size rooms with partial kitchens and comfy beds. The location is quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's clean and well kept. There are plugins for your vehicle in the winter. Recommended!

Owners communicated effectively through text messages to prepare for our arrival on our way to town. Greeted with a cheerful man who effortlessly got us checked in. Wifi is 5g and easy to log in. I have stayed at almost all the hotels in Whistler BC, this suite is top notch. Bed is beautiful with grey clean sheets. Full size fridge, cupboards full of dishes, with a sink and microwave. Would be easy to prepare a full meal. Then eat at the table with chairs. Clean bathroom with all supplies necessary to get clean. Heat is blowing strong and room is comfortable enough to sleep without blankets. Decor is something so unique. I will be back.
